thank you for the ideas. i needed a good travel project and in the end i chose marlene. the pattern is beautiful and the chart is easy to remember. one other reason why i chose this pattern was that the designer is from near where i am right now (at the finnish point of view at least). and the color suits quite well with this region.
the sock have traveled with me 10 kilometers above the ground, to a hill famous about its sign and to the beach of an ocean, the biggest of them all.
